Hogan Cup Final

St Patrick’s, Dungannon 1-09 v 1-07 St. Brendan’s, Killarney

In Portlaoise, St Patrick’s overcame Munster champions St Brendan’s of Killarney in a thrilling encounter in front of approx 2,000 spectators.

It was nip and tuck throughout the first half, and a St Brendan’s goal shortly after the break gave the Killarney side a 5 point lead.

However, St Brendan’s would only score one point after this, as Dungannon edged their way back into the game and on to a 2 point victory, with their goal coming courtesy of wing-forward and man of the match Patrick Doherty.
