Clár 2008 – Programme Fair

August 28th, 2008

programme-reader.jpgSaturday 30 August sees the first ever Gaelic games programme fair hosted by the Cardinal Tomás Ó Fiaich Memorial Library and Archive in Armagh. This is a unique opportunity for collectors of Gaelic games programmes and other memorabilia to get together and deal or exchange their material.

There will be a wide selection of items on display with collectors and exhibitors coming from right across the country for what promises to be a refreshing change to the normal avenues open to collectors. In recent times programmes have been made available for auction or online at highly inflated prices beyond the range of many who collect for the love of it.

This event will have no auction and collectors old and new will be free to trade and swap items or purchase them for a reasonable sum.

Viewing starts at 10.00 am and more information on the event is available for Roddy or Dónal at the library on 028 3752 2981.
