Double interest in Ladies Finals

September 11th, 2009

fermanagh-ladies.jpgSunday 27th September sees two Ulster counties make history by competiting in the Ladies All-Ireland Finals in Croke Park for the first time.

At 12noon Antrim take on Limerick in the Junior Final while at 2pm Fermanagh face Clare in the Intermediate.  This is the first time that either Antrim or Fermanagh have made it to the All-Ireland Final and now all hopes lie with them in bringing some silverware back to Ulster.  In the senior final reigning champions Cork play Dublin at 4pm.

All Ulster Gaels are urged to make the trip to Croke Park to support the Saffrons and the Ernesiders in their quests for glory.  There are special group rates for all clubs and schools to avail of which makes a trip to the capital on All-Ireland day a real possibility without breaking the bank!
