St Galls (Antrim) 2-15  Clontibret (Monaghan) 0-11

Antrim kingpins St Galls will play Loup from Derry in the AIB Ulster Club SFC final after Sunday’s provincial semi-finals.

Rory Gallagher starred for St Galls as they beat Clontibret by 2-15 to 0-11 at the Athletic Grounds, Armagh.

Galls, despite a poor start, led by three points at the break, before Gallagher struck two second half goals to secure a comprehensive win for his side.

AIB GAA Football Ulster Senior Club Championship:
Loup (Derry) 1-12  Kilcoo (Down) 1-11

Loup, meanwhile, had a much closer battle in their semi-final, beating Kilcoo by 1-12 to 1-11.

Loup staged a dramatic late comeback to snatch a final spot, having trailed by four points with 20 minutes left on the clock.

Paul Young was the Derry champions’ hero, as he snaffled the deciding late goal.

Kilcoo led by three points, 0-7 to 0-4, at half time, but they were up against it when Marty McLean was sent off after picking up a second yellow card.

Despite being a man down, Kilcoo looked to be cruising to a comfortable win when Donal Kane netted to leave them four points to the good with 20 minutes left.

However, Young’s late intervention means Loup will fight it out with St Galls for the provincial crown.

AIB GAA Football Ulster Intermediate Club Championship:
Lavey (Cavan) 1-14  Fanad Gaels (Donegal) 1-08

Cavan champions Lavey staged a stunning second half comeback to secure a place in the AIB GAA Football Ulster Intermediate Club Championship final.  Trailing by 1-08 to 0-06 at half time, the Lavey management re-shuffled the team and this paid huge dividends.

Lavey got the first 3 points of the second half before Fanad Gaels had a fisted goal from Davitt Walsh disallowed for a square ball infringement.  The Cavan men were not to be shaken as they tagged on further points, and Shane Tierney sealed the win with a goal in the closing stages.

AIB GAA Football Ulster Intermediate Club Championship:
Cookstown (Tyrone) 1-10  Monaghan Harps (Monaghan) 1-08

Cookstown will meet Lavey in the final of the AIB GAA Football Ulster Intermediate Club Championship following their 2 point victory over Monaghan Harps at the Athletic Grounds.

Barry Mulligan was the star performer for Cookstown, scoring 1-03 of his side’s total, with his 10th minute goal proving to be the decisive score of the game.

Cookstown raced into a 1-06 to 0-03 lead at half time, but the Monaghan champions turned the game on its head with a spirited second half comeback which saw them turn the 6 point deficit into a 1 point lead.

Entering the dying seconds the sides were level before the outstanding Barry Mulligan pointed and Barry Hughes tapped over a penalty to seal victory for Fr Rocks.

AIB GAA Football Ulster Junior Club Championship:
Emyvale (Monaghan) 0-12  Shane O’Neills (Armagh) 0-09

Monaghan champions Emyvale were full value for their 3 point victory over Armagh’s Shane O’Neills at Casement Park.

Indeed their could’ve been more between the sides only for 3 fine first half saves from Shane O’Neills ‘keeper Cormac Duffy.

Best on the day for the Monaghan champions were Martin McAree and Daniel McMahon, who contributed 0-09 of their side’s total.

AIB GAA Football Ulster Junior Club Championship:
St Teresa’s (Antrim) 2-09  Moville (Donegal) 2-07

Antrim champions staged a superb second half comeback in a thrilling AIB GAA Football Ulster Junior Club Championship at Brewster Park Enniskillen.

A goal from Moville’s Nigel McMonagle in first half injury time saw the Donegal champions going in at the break with a 1-06 to 0-03 lead and looking on their way to victory.

However,  a goal from Robbie Gallagher early in the 13th minute of the second half drew St Teresa’s back into the game.  Three minutes later it looked as though the tide had turned again as a pointed free and a goal from Graham Doherty once again saw Moville open up a 4 point lead.

The Belfast men were not to be disheartened and a Joe Rainey goal in the 23rd minute was to be the platform for their grand finale, before Philip Maguire and Gallagher scored the final 2 points.
