Social & Economic Impact of Volunteering

March 22nd, 2012

Ulster GAA will host a half day conference ‘The Social and Economic Impact of Volunteering’ on Friday 30th March from 10:30am to 2:30pm in the Torrent Complex, Donaghmore, Co Tyrone BT70 3DL.

This event, will explore the important contribution volunteers make to our society, both in terms of social and economic benefit.

The GAA has a staggering quarter of a million members across Ulster, these volunteers gave their time freely because they love the games, the Association and its activities. Their contribution helps ensure the GAA in Ulster is strong and successful but the impact of their actions benefits the community far more than what is sometimes recognised.

This event hopes to showcase the significant impact volunteers make in our communities and will recognise the value of volunteering.

Please confirm your attendance by emailing conference.ulster@gaa.ie or phoning Sharon Haughey on 02837517180.
