Empowering Female Sport Conference

Inspirational women from the world of sport will discuss their experiences, triumphs and challenges at the Empowering Female Sport Conference which takes place on Saturday March 11th from 10am-4pm at the Armagh City Hotel.

The conference is to encourage females to participate as players, coaches and administrators and is open to women of all abilities. Speakers on the day include –

Ann Downey – Kilkenny Camogie Manager
Juliet Murphy – Cork Ladies Champion
Aoife Cassidy – Slaughtneil Senior Camog & All Ireland Club Champion
Jennifer O’ Leary – former Cork Camogie Champion
Aisling Reilly – World Handball Champion
Janet Gray – Blind Water Ski Champion
Julie Davis – Female Strength and Conditioning Coach

There will be a number of workshops throughout the day on:
  • Mental Health Awareness
  • Strength and Conditioning
  • Player Retention/Post Playing involvement
  • Disability Inclusion
There will also be sport-specific workshops for Ladies Football, Camogie and Handball.
Delegates will also be in with a chance to win a number of great prizes, including –
