Tyrone U17s take home Jim McGuigan Cup

April 24th, 2017

For the second year in a row, Tyrone won the U17 Jim McGuigan Cup after defeating Donegal with a final scoreline of 0-15 to 0-07 at  Watty Grahams GAC, Glen on Saturday.

Despite an early lead for Donegal, four points in a row from the Red Hands soon put them in the driving seat. At half-time, Tyrone were in front by five points with 0-08 to Donegal’s 0-03.

In the final quarter, subs Cormac Gormley, Liam Gray and Ethan Jordan all added to Tyrone’s tally of 0-15 to 0-07 at the full time whistle.

Comhghairdeas to the Tír Eoghain winning team.
