Five Ulster Counties get PwC GAA 2017 Football All-Stars nominations

Mickey Harte’s Tyrone team are represented by six players on the short-list of 45 names released today by the GAA and the GPA. The nominees that make up the cream of the crop from another dramatic football summer also includes two players from Down with Monaghan, Donegal and Armagh completing the high-profile line-up with one nomination each. 

Young referee praised for her volunteering effort

Ulster GAA in association with Translink has unearthed an outstanding young GAA volunteer from Killeavy GAA, Co Armagh.  24 year old Cliodhna McAteer has been awarded the Translink Young GAA Volunteer of the Month Award for August 2017, following a nomination from her club which demonstrated her outstanding contribution to Killeavy GAA.

National Student Bursaries Scheme 2017/18
