Sports Science Support
Ulster GAA have been providing fitness testing support to our inter-county teams for several years, tailoring each session to the needs of the focus squad. The support and expertise offered has helped guide the training programmes of many of Ulster’s county squads over the past 5 years. This experience has also enabled Ulster GAA to develop a significant bank of fitness testing knowledge which has contributed to several workshops and documents for club coaches to reference.
GPS & Heart Rate Analysis

Over the past 3-4 years, Ulster GAA have been leading the way, providing GPS & HR analysis to inter-county teams on a regular basis. This has paved the way for county teams to tailor and refine training, while also gaining a greater insight into the demands players face during games. A number of recent documents relating to GPS & HR analysis have been made available by Ulster GAA for reference by club coaches. For more information refer to the articles section of the main Ulster GAA website.
