Sunday was another big day of action in the  2017 AIB Ulster Club Hurling Championships with semi-final games in the Junior Intermediate & Senior Championships, as well as a Junior quarter-final replay.

The nominees that make up the cream of the crop from another dramatic football summer also includes two players from Down with Monaghan, Donegal and Armagh completing the high-profile line-up with one nomination each. 

Young referee praised for her volunteering effort

Ulster GAA in association with Translink has unearthed an outstanding young GAA volunteer from Killeavy GAA, Co Armagh.  24 year old Cliodhna McAteer has been awarded the Translink Young GAA Volunteer of the Month Award for August 2017, following a nomination from her club which demonstrated her outstanding contribution to Killeavy GAA.
