Club Officer Training Programme

Ulster GAA has just announced nine dates for Part 2 of the Club Officer Training Programme.

Last years hundreds of volunteers were trained from all nine counties in Ulster by Ulster GAA tutors and guest facilitators from the different counties.  2011 sees the second part of this programme which is aimed at Club Officers including: Chairpersons, Secretaries, Treasurers, PROs, Development Officers, Coaching Officers, Child Protection Officers and Cultural Officers.

The training schedule is currently being finalised by Ulster GAA chiefs but its sure to be training not to be missed by clubs.

The training is FREE and your county board is providing the venue and lunch complimentary.

Over the coming weeks details will be launched of how to register, for now all club clubs officers are asked to put the date in your diary for your half day county training date:

January 2011

•           Saturday 8th January – Tyrone Club Officer Training Programme, Loreto College, Omagh

•           Saturday 15th January – Monaghan Club Officer Training Programme, St Macartan’s College

•           Saturday 22nd January – Down Club Officer Training Programme, St Malachy’s Castlewellan

February 2011

•           Saturday 5th February – Donegal Officer Training Programme, Deele College, Raphoe

•           Saturday 12th February – Cavan Officer Training Programme, St Patrick’s School

•           Saturday 19th February – Fermanagh Officer Training Programme, St Michael’s Enniskillen

March 2011

•           Saturday 5th March – Antrim Officer Training Programme, Venue TBC

•           Saturday 12th March – Derry Officer Training Programme, St Patrick’s School Dungiven

•           Saturday 26th March – Armagh Officer Training Programme, Armagh City Hotel

These days will run from 9am to 12.30pm and are FREE for club officers to attend.

*Please note attendance at this course is mandatory if applying for Club Maith accreditation.
