The President of Ulster GAA Martin McAviney would like to invite applications from Club Maith accredited Clubs to be recognised at this year’s Ulster GAA President’s Awards. The President’s Awards will take place at the Hilton Hotel, Templepatrick on Saturday 8th November 2014.

The annual Ulster GAA Presiden’ts Awards is a night of celebration which recognises the most important aspects of the GAA in Ulster. This year the theme of the awards is ‘Club Maith’.

Club Maith is Ulster GAA’s club accreditation and development scheme which covers all areas of club business contained within five sections:

  • Governance;
  • Duty of Care;
  • Community Enhancement;
  • Culture & Heritage;
  • Coaching & Games Development

Awards will be made based on clubs demonstrating a project contained within a section of Club Maith which they feel is strong, innovative, or particularly beneficial to their club. The application process is very straightforward and accredited clubs are invited to make up to five applications, based on one project per section of Club Maith.
