The GAA in Tyrone comprises of 53 clubs, five of which focus on Hurling alone. About half of Tyrone’s Clubs are interested in terms of providing Ladies Gaelic Football or connecting with Ladies Clubs. The other Gaelic games of Handball, Camogie and Rounders are also played in Tyrone, but not on a County-wide basis.
The GAA in the county is governed by a county committee comprising of one delegate from each club and others elected from the educational sectors. Most the county’s business he county has 13 sub-committees including a Management Committee.
Both the County’s administrative headquarters and County Ground are located in Omagh Town.
