U-15 Development Squad Blitz
On Saturday past the Ulster Council held their 2nd Development Squad Football Blitz of the year leading on from the 125 Blitz which took place 2 weeks ago involving all 9 Counties at U-17 level.
Saturday past was the chance for the U-15 County Development Squads to show their worth.
Each County fielded 2 Teams (15 a side) so in total there were 18 Teams taking part with a total of 340 players enjoying the experience of playing for their County.
With the Counties drawn into 2 Groups there were a total of 32 games played during the day.
Both Teams from each County played at the same time to ensure all players were involved.
A special thanks to Emmett (Caretaker of Cloghan, Training grounds for Monaghan) for the use of their facilities at very short notice as Owenbeg (Dungiven) was unplayable.
The pitches(4) and facilities are a credit to Emmett and everyone involved at looking after this unbelievable complex.
