Cadburys Ulster Under 21 Football Championship Preliminary Round:
Tyrone 1-07 Derry 1-14
Aaron Kerrigan’s 1-4 scoring salvo at Healy Park helped Derry advance to the quarter final of the Ulster U21 Football Championship where they meet Fermanagh.
A Mattie Donnelly goal had the Red Hands holding onto a slender lead with 10 minutes to play but the Oak Leafers finished the game strongly.
They outscored their opponents 1-5 to 0-1 in the closing stages and corner forward Kerrigan scored a late 1-2.
Derry led 0-7 to 0-5 at half-time and ran out seven-point winners.
