Note to Participating Clubs:
In past years this competition was substantially subsidised, with all clubs being paid a dividend for matches played. This year teams that complete their full match programme will be paid a dividend of €500.
Funding for this competition has traditionally been provided from a specific hurling development budget within Ulster GAA. This budget is being reduced year on year while Ulster GAA’s hurling development initiatives across all age groups continue to increase. Savings made from this year’s Ulster Club Senior Hurling League will be utilised in new hurling development initiatives at underage level and also in coach education programmes across the province.
