Derry eased into the semi-finals of the Ulster GAA Hurling Championship after a nine-point defeat of Armagh at the Morgan Athletic Grounds on Sunday.
The Oak Leaf County led by 2-9 to 0-9 at the break thanks to goals from Ruairí Convery and Paddy McCloskey.
The Nicky Rackard Cup champions did have chances in the first half, but were twice denied by the Derry goalkeeper Oisín O’Doherty.
Convery and McCloskey raised green flags again in the second half, before Ruairí McGrattan pulled one back for the home side in the closing stages from a free.
