Ulster GAA Statement of the death of Brian Og Maguire:
Commenting on the tragic death of Fermanagh Inter County Player Brian Og Maguire the President of Ulster Council GAA Aogán Ó Fearghail said:
“It was with shock and deep sadness that I learnt this morning of the death of Brian Og Maguire. I knew Brian Og who was a committed Gael who represented his Club Lisnaskea Emmetts GAA and his County Fermanagh with great distinction and I had the privilege of presenting him with the Ulster Intermediate Club Championship Cup in 2011.
“I express the Ulster Council’s and my own deep and heartfelt sympathy to Brian Og’s parents Brian and Eileen, his sisters Roisin and Eimear, his entire family circle and his Club. My thoughts and prayers are with them all at this time.
“This tragic event reminds me of the words of Aeschylus “Even in our sleep, pain which cannot forget falls drop by drop upon the heart, until, in our own despair, against our will, comes wisdom through the awful grace of God.”

Funeral Arrangements for Brian Og Maguire (RIP):
Brian Og Maguire’s remains will return to his family home (Macknagh) this afternoon (Friday), house strictly private until 6:30pm.
Funeral Mass Sunday 16th September at 11am in Holy Cross Church Lisnaskea.
Family Flowers only – All donations to be made to The Cormac Trust.
Parking Arrangement’s:
No access to Macknagh Road, Car parking available in Courtney’s Mace where shuttle bus will operate to and from house. Please avail of all public car parks within town on Sunday.
