Derry and Down Hurlers to Meet Again
Ulster GAA Hurling Championship Semi-Final:
Down 1-16 Derry 0-19
Derry and Down will have to meet again after their entertaining Ulster semi-final at the Athletic Grounds in Armagh ended in a draw on Sunday.
Down, the Christy Ring Cup champions, were 1-16 to 0-18 in the dying minutes and looked to have won the game with a Michael Turley point, but Patrick McCloskey fired over a precious equaliser for the Oak leafers right at the death.
Antrim await the winners of the replay, a date for which will be conformed by the CCCC in due course, in the Ulster final.
