The Gaelic Life Ulster GAA Club Officer Training Programme has got underway with huge numbers attending the Role Specific Club Officer Training for New Officers, which was held in Holy Trinity School in Cookstown on Saturday 18th January.  This Annual Provincial Training Programme brought together 110 Club Officers new to their roles from across Ulster Clubs.  It provided important advice and guidance to help club volunteers carry out their roles and tasks in 2014.

Alongside this training, Ulster GAA continues to deliver its annual Club Officer Development Course which is being held in all nine counties of Ulster.  Antrim and Armagh were the first counties to receive this training and feedback has been extremely positive so far

The Club Officer Development Course is to develop the skills and knowledge base of all club officers in Ulster.  All clubs are required under Club Maith to have representatives at this course, we recommend at least 5 representatives per club.

Ulster GAA will also be distributing the new ‘Heads Up’ Mental Health Resource for GAA clubs at this event, any club looking a copy of this are advised to attend as the resource is limited to one per club.

PLEASE NOTE: This training course is always very popular and registration is essential.  To secure your place at these events please email fionntan.odowd.ulster@gaa.ie or phone (028) 3751 7180.
