The Ulster Wheelchair Hurling Team were in Athenry, Galway on Saturday 8th February to play in a Provincial Tournament against Munster, Connacht & Leinster. The Ulster Team currently consists of players from Derry, Antrim, Fermanagh & Tyrone

This is their second competitive outing after previously playing in the Inaugural Provincial Blitz last November in Athlone.

Ulster GAA staff are currently holding taster sessions around the Province and are inviting males & females who are over 16 and would like the opportunity to try this fast and exciting game. Participants do not have to be regular wheelchair users to play so this might suit someone with any physical disability who would like to play hurling in a competitive environment.

The next Provincial Blitz will be in Belfast on the 26th April. For further information contact
