Cavan defeat Derry in U21 opener

Cadburys Ulster U21 Football Championship Preliminary Round:
Derry 0-12 Cavan 3-10

Cavan have defeated Derry 3-10 to 0-12 in the opening round of the Cadburys Ulster U21 Football Championship at Celtic Park.

A goal within 2 minutes from Joe Dillon sent the Breffni men on their way, followed by further majors from Enda Flanagan in the 34th minute and Paul Graham in the 48th minute which sealed the victory.

Reigning champions Cavan will now go on to face Tyrone in the quarter finals at Kingspan Breffni Park next Wednesday 19th March.
