Cavan Gaels LGFA held their Gaelic4Girls certificate presentations on Saturday 14th June.

The day included a Gaelic4Girls Blitz and a boys blitz with Cavan Gaels, Mullahoran, Lacken & Cornafean taking part. There was also a Boys Blitz with players from the same clubs involved. There was also a cake sale, face painting and lots of fun games for everyone of all ages. ?

The day was also an opportunity to encourage new volunteers to get involved within the ladies club.

Ulster Ladies Football Development Officer Owen Mooney was invited by Noeleen Tully to give a presentation talk on the Ready, Steady, Coach Programme, which aims to provide support and assistance to new volunteers interested in getting involved in coaching a team.

Cavan Gaels have made huge strides in the development of Ladies Football. They now have over 100 girls taking part and they are constantly looking to progress and develop their club. It was a fantastic day with over 400 women, men and children taking an active part during the day. A wonderful way to showcase the great strides Cavan Gaels have made in the development of Ladies Football.
