The Public Health Agency has provided funding to Ulster GAA which will ensure that each GAA unit in the Province has a dedicated space in each club to promote Health and Wellbeing.

Each Club is to receive a health display board and card unit which will ensure that there is a go-to area in Clubs which will house posters, leaflets and cards on a range of Health matters.

A number of Health Focused events are taking place across Ulster at the present time and at these volunteers are to receive their materials.

The funding provided by the PHA has also enabled a range of health initiatives to be organised by the newly formed County Health and Wellbeing Committees. These events have included seminars on mental health, addiction, general health and wellbeing and much much more!

It is certain that the GAA is committed to addressing the health and wellbeing of it’s membership and the support from the Public Health Agency has ensured this has been enhanced further.
