Down secure final spot with Antrim
Ulster Senior Hurling Championship Semi Final:
Down 3-16 Derry 1-17
Down will face Antrim in the 2015 Ulster Senior Hurling Championship Final, following a 5 point victory over Derry at Owenbeg this afternoon.
The Oak Leaf County led 0-10 to 0-8 at the break, but 3 second half goals proved crucial in Down securing their place in the Provincial decider.
Trailing by 10 points, Kevin Hinphey’s goal on 57 minutes did spark a mini revival for Derry, but Down were able to hold out for victory.
The Ulster Senior Hurling final will take place on Sunday 12th July, with the venue to be confirmed.
