The 3fivetwo Group Ulster GAA Player Academy 2015 has been officially launched by 3fivetwo Group Development Director Mark Regan at the Ulster University, Jordanstown.
120 young players have been selected from across all nine Ulster counties to participate in the prestigious 3fivetwo Group Ulster GAA Player Academy. Players from Gaelic football, hurling, handball and wheelchair hurling have been selected through their counties and are tipped to be future stars for the Association.
Speaking at the launch, Ulster GAA President Martin McAviney said, “The 3fivetwo Group Ulster GAA Player Academy is a fantastic initiative to develop bright young players who are showing real promise through their county development squads. The Academy aims to grow young players and to encourage them to think about healthy lifestyles, good training practices and skills development.
“We are delighted to include young handballlers and wheelchair hurlers in the Academy this year and I have no doubt the 3fivetwo Group Ulster GAA Player Academy, which takes place on 6th and 7th July at the Ulster University, will be a great experience for these promising young players.”
