Success for Granemore in Provincial Football Féile

With the National Féile Peile na nÓg taking place in Leinster last weekend, the Provincial Football Féile was held in Co. Derry with 25 clubs from across the Province participating.

Banagher, Glenullin and Owenbeg Centre of Excellence staged the group stage games where young stars executed the skills of Gaelic Football to a very high standard. After a great morning of football, the four clubs who came through to the semi-finals were Derrygonnelly, Granemore, Moneymore and Moortown.

In the semi finals Granemore overcame Moneymore and Moortown edged past Derrygonnelly after extra time by one point.

In the final despite Moortown showing great spirit, Granemore deservedly came out on top by a few points.
