US Officials visit Ulster GAA

Ulster GAA were delighted welcome Elizabeth Dibble, Deputy Chief of Mission at United States Embassy London, and US Consul General to Belfast Daniel Lawton to Ceannarás Uladh Armagh today. Both officials were visiting local community groups and met with Ulster GAA Vice President Michael Hasson, Secretary & CEO Dr. Danny Murphy, Head of Community Ryan Feeney and PA to the CEO Geraldine McKavanagh to discuss a range of issues including a presentation on the work of Ulster GAA.

Speaking afterwards Vice President Michael Hasson commented “Ulster GAA has had a longstanding and strong relationship with the US Consulate in Belfast and we were delighted to welcome the new Consul General Dan Lawton. We look forward to a working with him and his team during his term. I would also pay tribute to the former Consul General Gregory Burton and thank him for his friendship during his tenure in Belfast.”
