The Allianz National Football League commenced this weekend with wins for Tyrone, Monaghan and Fermanagh in their opening round games.
Tyrone got their campaign off to a winning note at Healy Park on Sunday afternoon when they had six points to spare over a battling Roscommon side in Omagh.
Monaghan defeated Mayo by two points in Castlebar while Fermanagh overcame Down with a full-time result of 1-16 to 0-10.
There was no drama at a packed Kingspan Breffni Park as Dublin came, saw and conquered with relative ease against a fairly new-look Cavan side who battled gamely, but were outclassed by the All-Ireland champions 0-18 to 0-11.
