In the Danske Bank Brock Cup, St Michael’s Enniskillen and St Colman’s Newry played out a draw in their quarter-final at the weekend, necessitating a replay on WEDNESDAY.

It finished 1-7 to 0-10 with Cian McLoughlin scoring four points for the Newry side and the Enniskillen goal scored by Mícheál Glynn.

St Malchy’s Castlewellan are through to a first ever A grade semi-final following a 2-13 to 1-13 win over St Patrick’s Cavan in a play-off on Friday.

Callum Laird and Tiarnan McCullough scored the goals to set up a quarter-final with Patrician High Carrickmacross.

In the other quarter-finals scheduled for the next few days, there is a Tyrone derby with Omagh CBS facing St Patrick’s Academy, while last season’s Corn na nÓg runners-up, St Patrick’s Maghera also have a derby – against St Mary’s Magherafelt – on Thursday 2pm in Lavey.

And that all means that last season’s Corn na nÓg champions St Macartan’s Monaghan have failed to make the quarter-final cut.

Can all teach managers please contact Séamas McAleenan with quarter-final results and scorers for each team.
