Goals win games is an old adage that rang true for Lumen Christi College of Derry at the weekend as they became the first team through to the semi-finals of the Danske Bank O’Doherty Cup with a 4-7 to 0-7 win over Magh Ene College from Bundoran in Convoy.
Goals from Diarmuid Baker and Ben McCarron were the difference at the break on 2-3 to 0-3, while Baker and Niall Moore added green flags during the course of the second half.
