Tyrone Minors crowned Jim McGuigan Cup winners
Tyrone needed extra-time to see off Monaghan in an entertaining Jim McGuigan Cup final in Glen on Saturday.
It was Monaghan who led early and asserted their dominance building up a 1-4 to 0-1 lead in the opening opening quarter.
Tyrone battled to get back into the game but trailed at the interval by five points, 1-6 to 0-4.
The young Red Hands steadied the ship in the second half and got back into the contest a Danny Fullerton goal proving crucial as the game ended level 1-7 to 1-7
Tyrone would kick ten extra-time points five from the boot of Mark Devlin as they claimed the title 1-17 to 1-10.
Meanwhile in Clones, Sligo claimed the Ulster Minor Jim McGuigan Shield with a narrow 1-9 to 1-8 victory over Down. Captain Oran McDonagh received the Shield from John Connolly of Ulster GAA
