Donegal’s Aodh Ruadh win Ulster U15 Hurling Óg Sport Final

The Ulster Under 15 Hurling Óg Sport took place recently in Owenbeg with nine clubs competing for the title.

After the group stages Aodh Ruadh, Ballyshannon and Erne Gaels advanced to the semi-finals from Group 1 getting the better of Omagh, Eire Óg and Naomh Gall/ Brid Óg.

In Group 2 Ballinascreen and Eoghan Ruadh, Dungannon emerged as the top teams seeing off Sarsfields and St Eunans.

A closely fought semi-final, Aodh Ruadh narrowly got the better of Eoghan Ruadh while Ballinascreen saw off Erne Gaels.

In a thrilling final Donegal’s Aodh Ruadh, Ballyshannon emerged victorious as they overcame Ballinascreen from Derry in the Cup final.

The Shield final saw St Eunan’s Letterkenny and Sarsfields meet with Sarsfields emerging as winners.
