AIB Ulster Club Championships Round Up
The 2019 AIB Ulster Club Championships got underway at the weekend with Hurling leading the way with quarter final games in the Junior and Intermediate Championships.
On Saturday 12th October there was a win for Inniskeen (Muineachán) over Naomh Colum Cille (Tír Eoghain) in the Junior grade with a scoreline of 1-14 to 0-13.
Meanwhile there was also success for Bredagh (An Dún) and Eoghan Ruadh (Tír Eoghain) in their Intermediate quarter final clashes.
On Sunday 13th October the action continued with wins for Eoghan Rua (Doire) and Gort na Mona (Aontroim) who progress to the semi finals round of the Ulster Junior Hurling Championship.
Elsewhere on the day Céide Lámh Dhearg (Ard Mhacha) and Naomh Éanna (Aontroim) emerged victorious in their quarter final encounters against Setanta (Dún na nGall) and Banagher (Doire).
The preliminary round game of the Ulster Club Football Junior Championship saw St Patricks Lisburn (Aontroim) take on Collegeland O’Rahillys (Ard Mhacha) at Glenavy with the Orchard County club proceeding to the quarter finals on a scoreline of 0-13 to 1-6.
