Eoghan Rua through to All Ireland Semi Final

Eoghan Rua have reached their second All-Ireland Junior Hurling semi-final in five years after a comprehensive win over Birmingham side John Mitchel’s at Celtic Park on Sunday 24th November.

The Doire club sailed to victory with a scoreline of 3-19 to 0-7 in the AIB All-Ireland Junior Club Hurling Twinning Final.

Hero of the hour Sean Leo McGoldrick hit 1-1 for the Coleraine side in the opening minute, setting the tone for the remainder of the game.

By the time the visitors registered their first score twenty minutes in, the writing was on the wall.

Top scorer on the day was Sean Leo McGoldrick with a tally of 1-9.

The Ulster champions now go on to meet the Leinster winners on the 4th/5th of January.
