Successful first Ulster Scór na nÓg semi-final in Stradone

The first Ulster Scór na nÓg semi-final took place in Stradone, Cavan on Sunday afternoon with representatives of five counties taking part.

Each of the counties (Aontroim, An Cabhán, Dún na nGall, Fear Manach and Muineachán) had at least on representative reach the final.

Those qualifying for the Ulster final early in the new year were:

Rince Foirne (Ceili Dancing) – Dún na nGall, Aontroim

Amhránaíocht Aonair (Solo Singing) – An Cabhán, Muineachán

Aithriseoireacht (Recitation) – Muineachán, Dún na nGall

Nuachleas (Novelty Act) – Dún na nGall, Aontroim

Ceol Uirlise (Instrumental Music) – An Cabhán, Fear Manach

Bailéád Ghrúpa (Ballad Group) – Dún na nGall, Aontroim

Rince Seit (Set Dancing) – Muineachán, An Cabhán
