Ulster Scór Sinsir final line-up confirmed
The finalists for the 2020 Ulster Scór Sinsir finals are now known following the semi-finals that took place over the course of the weekend.
On Saturday night participants from Antrim, Cavan, Donegal, Fermanagh and Monaghan took to the stage in St McNissi’s Parish Centre in Randalstown. After a fine night’s entertainment the qualifier were as follows:
Rince Foirne – Emyvale (Muineachán) and Aghagallon (Aontroim)
Amhránaíocht Aonair – Brona McIlfatrick, Dunloy (Aontroim) and Cáit Ní Bhaoghill, Aghabog (Muineachán)
Aithriseoireacht / Scéalaíocht – Malachy Duffin, Tír na nÓg Randalstown (Aontroim) and Paddy Sherlock, Scotstown (Muineachán)
Bailéad Ghrúpa – Drumlane (An Cabhán) and Roberts Emmets (Dún na nGall)
Nuachleas – Scotstown (Muineachán) and Buncrana (Dún na nGall)
Ceol Uirlise – Derrylin (Fear Manach) and Erne Eagles (An Cabhán)
Rince Seit – Drumlane (An Cabhán) and Emyvale (Muineachán)
On Sunday night participants from Armagh, Derry, Down and Tyrone took to the stage in Glenullin. There was a very high standard and some tremendous performances. The qualifiers were;
Rince Foirne – Omagh (Tír Eoghain) and Watty Grahams, Glen (Doire)
Amhránaíocht Aonair – Eimear Magee, Mayobridge (An Dún) and Kathryn Mullan, Slaughtneil (Doire)
Aithriseoireacht / Scéalaíocht – Noreen McCreesh, Cullyhanna (Ard Mhacha) and Clare McCartan, Atticall (An Dún)
Bailéad Ghrúpa – Errigal Ciaran (Tír Eoghain) and Saul (An Dún)
Nuachleas – Bryansford (An Dún) and Omagh (Tír Eoghain)
Ceol Uirlise – Ardboe (Tír Eoghain) and Glenullin (Doire)
Rince Seit – Glenullin (Doire) and Killyclogher (Tír Eoghain)
This year the Ulster Scór Sinsir final will take place on Saturday 21st March in Silverbridge.
