Over 60 club volunteers take part as Sport Uniting Communities 2021 gets underway
Community Sport Development Officers from Ulster GAA, Ulster Rugby and the Irish Football Association recently held part one of Sport Uniting Communities Volunteer Development Programme 2021.
In total, over 60 volunteers from 35 clubs across the province contributed to lively discussions. The focus of the evening was Roles and Responsibilities within our clubs. Dialogue surrounded two main areas:
- Differing roles in clubs across the three sports and the benefits they brought
- How to get the right person for the roles using role and person specifications.
Attention will now turn to our Virtual Stadium tours of Croke Park, Kingspan Stadium and the National Football Stadium at Windsor Park which will be hosted on Tuesday 13th April.
The project supported by the European Union’s PEACE IV Programme, is managed by the Special EU Programmes Body (SEUPB)
