Register for Child Safeguarding Risk Assessment Webinar taking place this weekend
There will be a Child Safeguarding Risk Assessment Webinar this Saturday, 24th April, on behalf of the National GAA Child Safeguarding Committee.
The webinar will begin at 12 noon and will be one hour in duration with the topic being the new Child Safeguarding Risk Assessment and the new Child Safeguarding Statement, both of which are to be completed by Clubs by the 31st of May 2021.
All Clubs are encouraged to have their Club Children’s Officer attend the webinar so as to enable their completion of the new Child Safeguarding Risk Assessment and the new Child Safeguarding Statement. Full details on how to complete both the Assessment and the Statement will be outlined at the webinar and a template for both will issue after the webinar. If you are not in a position to attend the webinar then we ask that a representative from your club attends.
Please register to attend the webinar before 1:00pm on Friday the 23rd of April, and ensure when you register that you enter a valid email address. That afternoon all persons registered for the webinar will be forwarded the link for the following day’s event.
