‘Pop-Up’ Vaccination Clinics at Ulster SFC Semi-Finals this weekend

July 15th, 2021

Following a request from the Department of Health, Ulster GAA has ‘teamed-up’ with the Southern and Western Health Trusts’ this weekend to provide ‘pop-up’ vaccination clinics at both Ulster Senior Football Championship semi-finals, which are taking place in Newry and Enniskillen respectively.

On Saturday 17th July a clinic will operate at the Newry Shamrocks Sports Centre at Páirc Esler between 1.15 pm and 3.15 pm, while on Sunday, 18th July the clinic will operate between 12 noon and 5.00 pm at the St Michael’s Scout Hall, adjacent to the main entrance to Brewster Park.

The clinics are open to all Northern Ireland residents over 18 (or anyone who has a HSC number) and vaccination staff will administer first jabs of the Pfizer Covid-19 Vaccine only on a first come, first served basis.

Anyone wishing to take advantage of the clinic and receive their first jab must bring along photographic ID, proof of address and their Health and Care Number (HCN), if possible.

People who are not attending the games are also welcome to avail of the opportunity to be vaccinated.
