St Joseph’s finish strongly to reach Rehill Cup Final
St. Joseph’s Grammar School Donaghmore are through to the Final of the Danske Bank U14.5 Rehill Cup after a semi final victory this afternoon against Abbey CBS Newry.
The game was nip and tuck throughout, with both sides displaying skill and endeavour in abundance. The Newry side took the lead in the early stages before being pegged back as the half wore on.
Donaghmore went in 4-4 to 4-0 ahead at the break, and they continued where they left off after the half time whistle as the gallant challenge from Abbey faded towards the end.
St Joseph’s now await the winners of StAidans Derrylin and St Malachy’s High School Castlewellan Community who meet in the other semi final.
