Parents in Sport Workshops

Ulster GAA, the Irish FA, and Ulster Rugby are jointly hosting a Parents in Sport event for all clubs.

The workshops will be held at the Tyrone GAA Centre, Garvaghey on Wednesday 23rd November and in Ballymena Rugby Club on Monday 28th November.

With an aim to support or young people, parents and volunteers, the workshops will focus on:

Workshop 1 – Online Safety

This e-safety talk will centre on ‘Empowering, Educating and Encouraging’ young people and their families to be safe in the virtual world.

Workshop 2 – Promoting Positive Parental Involvement in Sport

This will look at the key role of parents in sport and examine some practical methods of helping parents understand their role and it impacts on children.
