Antrim to host Dermot Earley Youth Leadership Initiative
Antrim GAA have become the fist county in the North to host the Dermot Earley Youth Leadership Initiative.
The Initiative designed by Foróige and rolled-out through the GAA takes its name from Dermot Earley; one of Ireland’s most inspirational leaders and sportsmen, who served his county, country and the global community with immense distinction. The programme will enable young people to develop the skills and qualities necessary to become leaders of the future.
Fifteen young people aged between 12-18 years will commence the year-long programme in September 2017.
Ulster GAA President Michael Hasson, and Ard Stiúrthóir Páraic Duffy were in attendance for the launch of the programme at Antrim GAA County Offices last week.
