Speaking at Garvaghey Co Tyrone Ulster GAA President Oliver Galligan said:
“Ulster GAA’s Elevate Award was designed four years ago by Ulster’s Community Development department to offer clubs a step up in preparation for major club projects, capital and revenue, and also for clubs who were leading the way in terms of club governance to help assist them in delivering their hopes and aspirations for their club.
“23 clubs have achieved this award over the past 3 years and now another 7 clubs join that prestigious group. I congratulate all seven clubs and wish them well in their future plans.
“A lot of the learning of this programme comes from the knowledge and expertise of our volunteer tutors, all of whom are experts in their fields and we’re delighted to have them on board for this important programme.
“Their knowledge and experience is invaluable and their voluntary contribution to the Association is greatly appreciated.”
The Level 2 Elevate Award will re-open to clubs in 2020.
