An Cabhán Club Championship Update

With the group stages now concluded, the remaining eight teams in the Cavan Hotel Kilmore Senior Football Championship will meet in the quarter final fixtures this weekend.

The first in the Senior quarter final clashes saw Cavan Gaels and Ramor United go head to head on Friday night at Kingspan Breffni with an 8.15pm throw-in.

Pre-championship favourites Cavan Gaels commenced their campaign with wins over Killygarry and Mullahoran while Ramor have enjoyed a convincing run so far, despite squandering an eight-point lead last Sunday to finish in fourth position in the table, which sealed their meeting with the decorated Gaels.

Full-time saw the Gaels come out on top with a ten point victory over Ramor on a scoreline of 2-19 to 0-15.

Meanwhile, it will be the fifth time in four years that Lavey and Castlerahan have faced each other in the Senior Championship when the ball will throw-in at Kingspan Breffni at 6.30pm on Saturday.  The sides have drawn three times but Castlerahan are tipped as favourites for this encounter.

On Sunday the Cavan Senior Football Championship quarter finals will continue with Kingscourt v Mullahoran at 4.15pm and Crosserlough v Gowna at 6.30pm. Both games will take place at Kingspan Breffni.

CAVSTREAM will be streaming all quarter finals from the 2020 Cavan Club Championships.

The fixtures streamed via CAVSTEAM will cost €8 per fixture or €20 for week pass of 4 live quarter final games
