Sport For Peace day hosted in Donegal
As part of the GAA’s National Inclusive Fitness Day yesterday, Burt GAA in Donegal hosted a Sport Uniting Communities ‘Sport for Peace’ day.
The event began with online fitness activities during the day and culminated that evening in the young people from Burt and neighbours Naomh Colmcille coming together to learn skills in rugby, soccer and GAA.
Sport Uniting Communities is run by Ulster, Ulster Rugby and Irish FA. It is an EU Peace IV funded programme which aims to promote peace and reconciliation. For more information, visit the link below:
