‘Thinking Futures; Building Recognition’ forum held in Silverbridge
Silverbridge Harps CLG was the venue for the most recent “Thinking Futures; Building Recognition” event which took place last Friday.
This initiative of the Institute of Irish Studies at University of Liverpool and the GAA, facilitates discussion and debate between representatives of the Unionist community and members of the GAA.
Professor Peter Shirlow chaired proceedings and positive and constructive contributions were made from the panel and the audience. In attendance were GAA members from right across Ulster as well as representatives from Ulster Camogie and Ulster LGFA.
Ulster GAA would like to thank Silverbridge Harps CLG for use of their excellent facilities and their hospitality.
The next event in the series of four will take place this Friday evening 25th August in Connacht GAA Centre of Excellence in Bekan.
