Upcoming Ulster Hurling Roadshow events

 

Ulster GAA will be hosting a pair of Hurling Roadshows in the weeks and months ahead.

Top hurling coaches and managers will be discussing and delivering practical sessions, and providing knowledge and tips which coaches can take away with them.

Both Roadshow events will run from 10am-1pm. Cost £10 per coach, as well as a ‘4 Coaches for 3’ club offer. Register below:

• Saturday 29th June – Derry GAA Centre, Owenbeg, Dungiven
• Saturday 10th August: – Monaghan GAA Centre of Excellence, Cloghan

Attendees will provided with tea/coffee.

Led by current Laois senior hurling coach and former Tipperary video/performance analyst Sean Flynn.

The focus of the roadshow will be supporting coaches to plan, deliver and review their hurling coaching performance.

Each day will consist of three sessions:

• 10am – 10:45: Plan – Presentation on smart analysis to improve on field performance. Creating an enhanced player experience and better link between coaching and analysis.
• 10:45 – 12:15: Do – On-field pitch session exploring warm-ups, defensive & attacking coaching and game-based scenarios. Running a coaching session and integrating strategies, game focus and set plays into your sessions.
• 12:15 – 1:00: Review – How to enjoy the game and get players coming back to training, peaking, and Q&A .
