Youth Impact Awards for four Ulster Clubs
Ulster GAA President Michael Geoghegan joined GAA clubs from across the province who achieved Volunteer Now’s Youth Impact Awards at a recent presentation evening at the Europa Hotel, Belfast
Strabane Sigersons, Clan na Gael Lurgan, John Mitchel’s Claudy and Lissummon GAA received official recognition for their involvement of young people volunteering in their club through the Youth Impact Award.
Speaking at the awards, Ulster GAA President Michael Geoghegan said: “We are delighted to continue our strong working relationship with Volunteer Now across a range of volunteering initiatives across Ulster.
“The Youth Impact Awards compliment our own Sports Inspire Awards where young people are recognised for volunteering in their GAA clubs. We are delighted this year to have four clubs awarded with this prestigious award and I congratulate the volunteers in these clubs for promoting and developing youth volunteering.”
