Ulster GAA’s 2025 Under 15 Regional Football Player Academy Camps took place this week at three venues across the province: Derry GAA Centre of Excellence Owenbeg, Monaghan GAA Centre of Excellence Cloghan and Tyrone GAA Centre of Excellence Garvaghey.
Each of Ulster’s nine counties nominated 10 players to attend their regional camp, bringing together the province’s top young football talent.
Morning sessions included presentations on topics such as resilience, athletic development, alongside on-field coaching focused on game sense, decision-making, and skill refinement, with specific coaching for goalkeepers also.

In the afternoons, players took part in full-sided games, with performance analysis used to provide feedback and compare elements of play with this year’s Ulster Championship standards.
Over the three days, participants were joined by three current inter-county stars — Finnbarr Roarty (Donegal), Dessie Ward (Monaghan), and Eoin McElholm (Tyrone) — whose insights and Q&A sessions were among the highlights.
Ulster GAA extends its thanks to everyone involved and hopes all players had a rewarding and enjoyable experience.
